ChartGrabber does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any of the following:
The extension contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no third-party tracking of any kind.
To do its job, ChartGrabber reads content from the page you are currently viewing — chart elements, the JavaScript chart objects on that page, and JSON responses the page itself requested. This processing happens entirely inside your browser, in memory, on the page you explicitly chose. Captured data is discarded when you close or reload the tab. None of it is transmitted anywhere.
Files you export (CSV, Excel, clipboard) are produced locally by your browser and saved to your own device.
Using chrome.storage.local — on your device only, never uploaded — the extension keeps:
You can erase all of it at any time by removing the extension from Chrome.
The only server the extension contacts on its own is api.gumroad.com, and only if you have entered a license key. That request contains your license key and the product identifier it is checked against, and is used solely to confirm that your purchase is still valid. It contains nothing about you or the pages you visit. It is sent when you activate a key and roughly once a day afterwards.
Gumroad is our payment and licensing provider and acts as merchant of record for the sale. Payment details are entered on their checkout page and are never seen or stored by ChartGrabber. See the Gumroad privacy policy.
ChartGrabber is a productivity tool intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13.
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page and note the change in the extension's Chrome Web Store listing.
